The Project

I am a sommelier, wine and good food lover, fascinated by everything that is the world of wine.
I am 26 years old, living in Milan, I love music, art, travel and anything that stimulates my curiosity!
I graduated in General Management Engineering: I know that many of you will wonder what the wine and engineering have in common. I just say that I would not be able to even organize it all by himself, without that piece of paper!

But let’s get to the project.
Thewinelifestyle is a blog that aims to identify and explore, in everything that surrounds us, the endless connections existing in the world of wine.
Music, art, culture, fashion, sports, gastronomy are just some of them.
We will dive into this very vast and unending world, where we still might be amazed, and we will learn together!
I invite you, therefore, to comment and participate in the life of Thewinelifestyle, because your involvment is crucial to improve it and to make it more close to you!

And now, let’s begin!

  1. Hello Simone,

what a nice and lovely blog – carry on πŸ™‚

I have to admit – even if I know that your favourite wines must be Italian ones πŸ˜‰ – that I love Spanish wines from La Rioja… I always feel the sun running down my body – always enjoy it very much. Have you every tasted wine from that region?

No matter what – I am now waiting for my pizza I have ordered from the best pizza bakery in town – so I love Italian food reaaally much πŸ˜‰ Okay, tapas I like of course as well – but here Italy is on top ;-)))

Have a great time and cheers,
    Julia

    • Thank you Julia for the compliment! I tried Spanish wine and I liked it very much: Italian wines are on my top three, but still I don’t know exactly which wine are my favourite ones, because the world wine is so big and open wide! Have a nice day πŸ˜ƒ

  2. Wonderful . I am a lover of wine (and food too) when I think of wine I feel happy, I cannot imagine a life without such a living moving equity BUT being Irish I don’t have access or the knowledge that someone from a wine growing country would have.. I NEED to learn more, So, will follow your blog with interest πŸ™‚

  3. Cool blog! Sadly I am allergic to red wine, with the exception of Valpolicella, Bordeaux, and Beaujoulais (apparently it is polyphenols). I do drink and love whites though!
Cool luck with your sommelier pursuits!

      • I love prosecco and muscato d’asti, so I guess that would qualify as a yes. πŸ™‚ I am not familiar at all with Chablis – will look forward to ready that post!

I’ve been a long time white wine fan, but now my tastes are changing and I’m enjoying reds. Right now I prefer reds that don’t have a strong oak taste. I’m looking forward to learning more from your blog.

  5. Great concept for a blog! I’m not the biggest wine drinker and never know what’s the best to pair with my meal. Great read so far and looking forward to reading more πŸ™‚ Thanks for stopping by my blog post!
